Started this fantasy portrait of Captain Jam and Snuffkin when i was on my way into the tattoo shop on the train!
Mortimer always poses in person for all portraits!:)
Doing a super job of napping in my left hand so that i can carry on painting with my right hand :)

Trying to take some photos by natural light and i get photo bombed by Cal!
Cacifer is an ex battery farm hen, she is nearly five! She spent the first year and a half of her existence in a barren battery farm and did not see daylight until they pulled her out for slaughter, we rescued her and three of her sisters, Calcifer is still going strong, what a gorgeous hen. Vegan for life!
First sitting on Joy’s Angel wing.
I have never done anything like this before and loved that i got to free hand this.
Middle tones done, back in for the rest of the feathers and highlights in a couple of weeks, we managed to get this much done in two and a half hours because she sat extremely well!
Jess is a really lovely lady who saw my sister’s chicken tattoos at the Leeds vegan Fayre and asked who did them! A few months later and i get the pleasure of having the first sitting tattooing her!
Absolutley in love with the concept of this one. A colourful barn owl on a skull with deadly nightshade growing around and a death mask moth!
So excited to get the colour on in a couple of week!
'Fear no Darkness'
I have been thinking about Owl’s a lot recently and what they symbolize, i fell in love with a piece of music called Fear no Darkness and i put it together in a painting.
The owl is down the bottom with lots of books and melting candles, holding a locket, basically this piece is all about wisdom and secrets, hoping to get this finished within the week!
